Polychem Dispersit SPC 1000

Polychem Dispersit SPC 1000 (U.S. patent 6,261,463) is an EPA-reviewed, NCP* listed water-based dispersant for use on oil discharges or oil spills in accordance with the procedures set forth by the U.S. Coast Guard and other governmental agencies. The product is included on the NCP Product Schedule for use as a dispersant for oil spills.

• Unique aqueous composition with highly effective emulsifiers, dispersants, and a water-soluble coupling solvent
• User-friendly and environmentally safe; contains no petroleum solvents or hazardous materials
• Independent testing (J L Ross Env. Ltd.) confirmed significant effectiveness in fresh and brackish water
• Well suited for application via a vessel-based system because it maintains effectiveness when diluted with water, unlike petroleum-based products.
• Overall effectiveness** of 73%, almost 50% better than the EPA requirement and the leading product
• Far less aquatic toxicity than the leading petroleum-based dispersant
